In order to route services to all the required locations it is often required to bury pipes and cables in the screed of a room. This is especially true for shop floors where there can be a need for power outlets in the middle of the slab.
While the ends of these cables can be visible it is nearly impossible to determine the route of the cables. Even if drawings of these services exist the conduits may have moved when the screed was poured.
Radar allows for a quick and accurate method of mapping the position of services, conduits and pipes with the screed. The positions of the conduits can be mapped in real time, with their locations marked up on the floor, or plotted accurately onto CAD drawings.
